My interviewee, Noelia Cortés, is studying Elementary Teaching Education at the Adventist University of Chile. Some weeks ago she started observing classes on real classrooms.
Hello Noelia, tell me how much time have you been observing classes?
Hello Alexis, I have being observing classes for more than a month
How many days per week?
For the moment, just once a week
Ok, and how did you fell the first day that you had to stay in the room?
At the beginning, I felt very nervous because I had never been in a classroom with 45 children. But with the time I felt very good. I started to watch them and I realizad that it was not as difficult as I had thougt.
How do you think that the children reeived you?
When I arrived to the classroom, they were very shy and quiet. Then the teacher in charge introduced me and everyone got more relaxed.
Have you taught this month?
Not yet, but if the teacher in charge asks me, I must do it. I think that I am prepared to take a class. I have just helped her writing in the board, checking tests and homework.
How much time do you have to observe classes?
I believe that until this semester finishes, because the next semester I have to teach and I have to star my training.
Now, let move to another topic.
Ok
How is your heart right now? Are you alone? Do you a boyfriend?
My heart is perfectly good, I am not alone. I have a boyfriend.
How much time have you been together?
We have been together for more than four years. It has been a relationship with many good moments and few bad ones.
Do you have plans to get married soon with him?
We have plans to get married but not soon, not before both finish the university. We are too young to get married right now.
To finish this this interview, what do you expect for this year?
I hope to finish this semester with good grades and knowing enough to teach next semester. Also, I hope to have a better relationship with God and my boyfriend.
Thank you Noelia and God bless you to finish this semester the best way.
